Magdalena Popova to study how non-formal education is applied in TechnoMagicLand.

TechnoMagicLand welcomes a new addition to our team - Magdalena Popova, a Bachelor's student of "Non-formal Education" from the Faculty of Pedagogy at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". She will be doing her internship with them, where she will have to present her own project to the community under conditions as close as possible to reality.

To achieve this, Magdalena will get to know each member of the team and work with them to understand the structure of the organization and study the different aspects of management and service delivery to different audiences. She will study all the demonstration facilities for conducting experiments in the Exhibition and will explore all the STEAM activities.

Finally, Magdalena will learn how to communicate with visitors to the Center, so that she can devise her own project, which she will present at the end of the internship to a committee from the Faculty of Pedagogy at Sofia University.

The TechnoMagicLand team is always open to working with future education professionals, students, and pupils. If you want to learn more about our internship or volunteer programs, check out our website and don't hesitate to contact us. We look forward to seeing how Magdalena will develop her career in the field of non-formal education!

About informal education

Informal education is education that does not take place in a traditional learning environment such as a school or university. It can include activities such as workshops, camps, trainings, courses, seminars, and others, which provide knowledge and skills on a specific topic or skills that are important for personal development.

Informal education is important for society because it supports the development of people's skills and competencies that can be applied in various areas of life. It provides opportunities for people to acquire new skills and develop their talents, which gives them more opportunities for personal and professional development.

In the Bulgarian context, informal education is offered through many organizations and institutions such as schools, colleges, vocational courses, clubs, youth centers, and others. Informal education has been practiced at TechnoMagicLand since its creation in 2018.
