The Great Innovators of Bulgaria: Sts. Cyril and Methodius

Today, we celebrate the Day of Cyril and Methodius, the Bulgarian enlightenment and culture.

In this context, Sts. Cyril and Methodius are great innovators of their time who have made a significant contribution to Bulgaria. They created the alphabet that is still used today and translated secular texts into the Slavic language. In this way, they helped people access the knowledge of the world around them. This gave them the opportunity to create a new culture, learn new crafts and technologies, and develop trade relations with other peoples.

Without Cyril and Methodius, Bulgaria would not have had such development and prosperity. Their innovations have enabled the people to exist for many centuries and to be one of the leading countries in the region.
