Visits from school groups

________________________________________

Attendance from school groups is much different than any other form of visit. This is because we have students, teachers and the Center environment who create a complex system of relationships. You have the opportunity to take advantage of:

________________________________________

1. Exposure visits

________________________________________

The exposition provides opportunities for the application of the methods of direct investigation of reality - observation and experiment. The students are placed in a position that brings them closer to that of the research scientist. With the help of installations in the exposition space, they discover and rediscover some truths about reality on their own and with the help of their own efforts.

• Observation is an immediate source of information, it stimulates analytic-synthetic, causal, independent thinking, forms interests and research spirit, raises questions, nourishes different points of view for the analysis of objects and phenomena. It is a heuristic procedure that exerts a broad educational effect on the individual, which is why we need to teach students to observe: to systematically perceive different aspects of reality, to properly use observational data, to identify, describe and explain what is perceived by means of different means. The students have too much knowledge gained through spontaneous observation of objects from nature and society. This knowledge is very closely related to the experiences that accompany the observations. Observation is an active form of sensory knowledge that is widely used, especially in the natural sciences, to which most installations in TechnoMagicLand are dedicated.

You can organize various types of observations at TechnoMagicLand: spontaneous, descriptive, systematically organized, stand-alone or guided. You can manage the monitoring yourself or take the professional help of TechnoMagicLand specialists.

• The experiment is of great importance in learning the content of the subject in different subjects. Through the experiment exploring the unknown, the student is not only an observer but also an active participant in causing changes that confront him / her in the face of unknown aspects of reality. Experimentation is the key to forming a research spirit and involving students in the techniques and technologies of research. Experiments actively associate theory with practice to acquire skills with broader application in other fields of knowledge and action.

You can choose between different types of experiments: experiments to explore and discover new knowledge, experiment-demonstration, experiment-application. All experiments can be organized individually, in groups or in front. You can run the experiments yourself or take advantage of the professional help of TechnoMagicLand specialists.

Free visits for students from Sofia Municipality

________________________________________

Students from schools in the Metropolitan Municipality can attend the TechnoMagicLand exposition or participate in an activity for free. This is possible thanks to the "Student Activity-Encouragement Program".

For the program you need to know that:

1. Application - extremely easy procedure! For additional questions on how to apply, please contact the Education Directorate of the CO.

2. Arranging your visit - you only need to contact us to specify the day and time.

During your visit to TechnoMagicLand you have the opportunity to:

1. Visit the Exposure - Exposure with over 46 experiments is the heart of TechnoMagicLand, and the ability to organize hours is almost limitless.

2. organize laboratory activities - we can offer different formats of workshops, which correspond to the studied content of grades II through VII. Students who have taken part in such workshops say they "feel like real discoverers." This is because they are applying, perhaps for the first time, a scientific approach in a scientific environment and under professional guidance. Our young and charming scientists know how to capture the minds and hearts of students by igniting a spark of interest in science and technology. The atmosphere of the laboratories is close to that of the large research centers. This remarkable combination is a wonderful opportunity for every student to touch the world of science.

3. participate in the science show "In the world of science and technology" - a fascinating dialogue about the opportunities and challenges of becoming a researcher in the natural and social sciences.

4. Immerse yourself in High TechTML - a special hour in the world of computer science and information technology.

5. Get into the physics of sports - a different tennis lesson in which our TechSport partners will present a different perspective on sports.

The program is also valid in the 2019-2020 academic year. Take advantage now!

2. Organizing demonstrations

________________________________________

Demonstrations are an opportunity for direct indirect research - they show objects of didactic material, accompanied by descriptions and explanations made by the teacher or students to observe the material in them.

You can schedule different types of demonstrations at TechnoMagicLand: object demonstrations, phenomena and natural processes, didactic demonstrations, drawing demonstrations, auditory demonstrations, visual and audio-visual, trial demonstrations. You can do the demonstrations on your own or take advantage of the professional help of TechnoMagicLand specialists. At your disposal are a Techno Workshop with a capacity of one class or a Demonstration Hall with a capacity of up to 120 seats.

3. Organization of a practical activity

Action-learning is a key activity in shaping students' personality, which is why it is one of the key methods used in the Center. Knowledge acquisition must be integrated with mastery of the ability to act, scientific knowledge must be accompanied by practical skills and habits. Classical pedagogical wisdom is the thesis that one learns to read by reading; to play by playing; to write by writing; to act by acting. You can organize the following hands-on activities at TechnoMagicLand.

• Exercise is a practical activity. The full preparation of the students not only implies a wealth of knowledge, but also the formation of appropriate skills and habits through which knowledge will acquire the character of action. Therefore, an exercise is the deliberate repetition of an action to form skills and habits according to a standard. It is important that the exercise does not represent a role model that is common in everyday exercise of conscious exercise. TechnoMagicLand provides a modern logistic base and trained professionals to assist teachers. You can trust the professional advice from the experts at TechnoMagicLand in shaping the requirements, and choosing the types of exercises according to the end goal.

• Laboratory and practical work is an expression of the desire to connect theory with practice. They are widely used in science education. Laboratory exercises develop observability, form skills and habits, create a kind of work culture, help solve complex problems. Practical work is important for the development of motor and technical skills and habits. You can count on the full assistance of a team of natural sciences experts who can assist in the planning, implementation, evaluation and control of laboratory and practical work.

You can organize your internship at the Center on your own or consult TechnoMagicLand experts.

4. Applying modeling methods

________________________________________

Models in science are a more elementary system that is used as a substitute for a more complex system (original) to better study the original in the path of analogy. The model is an artificial reproduction of individual material sides of objects and phenomena, but so that it is isomorphic to reality.

The comfortable halls of TechnoMagicLand are an extremely suitable environment for the production of object, figurative and symbolic models. The Logic Computer Room has 12 workplaces + a lecturer's place where they can be designed to develop intangible models using professional software.

You can apply the modeling methods alone or trust the experts in the TechnoMagicLand team who can assist in the preparation of the modeling process for the most widely used models in the training process.

5. Application of imitation methods

________________________________________

Learning through the game or the game method at different times of the development of human civilization has always had its specific significance, regardless of its specific modification. In the whole educational process this method is used for various purposes. From the first to the last grade of the comprehensive school, the game significantly changes its place and importance, it is always present and gives the training a more lively and attractive character.

You can organize the application of the imitation methods in the Center on your own or consult TechnoMagicLand experts.

Classes and interactive classes

________________________________________

Classes can be a different experience if they are spent outside the classroom. TechnoMagicLand's atmosphere is completely different from the classroom. The conditions allow for school hours in:

- Physics

- Chemistry

- Biology

- Mathematics

- Geography

-    Information Technology

- Engineering design

- Robotics (Computer Modeling)

At TechnoMagicLand you can make a combination of all material and intangible resources for the preparation of the lesson.

You have the opportunity to request thematic research activities as required by the learning process in your school. We can assist you in the preparation and implementation of extracurricular activities provided for in the curriculum. Our job is to create a student experience, validating the knowledge we have already acquired. We apply the most effective training approaches - "learning by doing" and "learning by playing and racing".

Interactive Activities - People-oriented or technology-based, these activities can be a set of role-playing games, case work, project work, discussing and debating problem solving in an active learning environment through enhanced interaction between teachers and students . Regardless of their format, their goal is to create a "learning supportive environment", such as the environment offered by TechnoMagicLand.
