Halloween
For the second year in a row at TechnoMagicLand on October 31st we will use the Halloween holiday, which is celebrated mainly in English speaking countries, to organize a mask ball.
Our Halloween will be very different from any other, the main reason is that it will be held in the area of curiosity, which aims to spark interest in science and high technology. That is why we have prepared a thematic science program for curious people of all ages. Together we will peek into the world of those mystical creatures who do not live on our planet or are not born on it, united by the common name "Aliens".
Thanks to Hollywood movies and science fiction, it is likely that each of us has heard of the potential existence of such creatures. What is more, iconic series such as Star Wars have made a huge impact on contemporary mass culture and have made recognizable dozens of popular characters inhabiting the old Extended Universe.
Beyond the storylines in the films, there is a whole scientific field in science that deals with exploring the possibilities of developing life on other planets, called "astrobiology." It is statistically assumed that the existence of extraterrestrial life in the form of humanoids, bacteria, microorganisms, plants and others is quite possible. The idea of aliens is as old as the history of mankind. Already in the beliefs of ancient civilizations, there are supposed alien characters who mix with beliefs in deities.
Today, we humans have looked at the ability to travel to neighboring planets. The opportunity to go to Mars seems closer, not only in our thoughts, but also in technological terms. The main driver of this thinking is the advancement of astronomy and the development of space technology. The first samples from neighboring planets, as well as meteorites that have fallen to Earth, are already undergoing extensive research.
We are about to have a program full of different perspectives for aliens, in which we will have fun with science and discovery. We start at 18:00. Exposure will not work, not because he fears mischief, but because he does not like sweet. Seats in the hall are limited - we want everyone to have their own colorful chair. We recommend that the youngest curious be around and over 7 years old, because it is possible to take aliens too seriously and be scared.

With us will be Dr. Peter Eftimov, national winner of the FameLab Laboratory of Fame Competition for 2016, working as a molecular biologist, veterinarian, and only today as a lecturer at the Volcanic Academy of Sciences!
Peter has been an amateur astronomer for years, observing the starry sky through his own telescope, and is currently on his way to getting a Masters Degree in Astronomy and Promotion of Astronomy from the Faculty of Physics at St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia. If you're wondering what extraterrestrial life looks like outside the movie theater and what we do to find it - come and ask your questions in the science lecture "^ Alien Monsters - Nightmare or Reality? ^"!
We will try to imagine the life of aliens and jump in their clothes. We will make a real show of your favorite aliens on Halloween night! For this purpose we will need the help of our guests. That's why every TechnoMagicLand guest has to come disguised as his beloved alien on the night of October 31st. The three best overpayments will be awarded with special prizes. The first place will be awarded by an authoritative jury, and the second and third will be selected by the public by secret ballot. The main evaluation criteria are the costume and the imitation of the character's behavior. To support your presentation, we have prepared some face paints that will be available to you in curved mirrors

To participate in the program, you need to register in advance, specifying your name and the character you will present. Registration is required to allow all other contestants to understand who the characters are and prepare their character in a unique way.
